The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 101.029 is housed in 38.5-mm platinum case with transparent scratch-resistant sapphire caseback. A hand-sewn black calf leather strap with white stitches and 18K white gold Lange buckle completes the look of this masterwork. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the case and the dial.

Lange & Sohne Lange 1 101.029 utilizes mechanical with manual movement using hand-engraved and decorated Caliber L901.0 engine with 72-hour power reserve, 53 jewels including 9 screw-mounted gold chatons, 21,600 vph, glucydur screw balance, Nivarox spring with terminal curve, goose-neck fine adjustment and patented beat adjustment, twin serially operating spring barrels, Glashutte three-quarter plate and bridges with Glashutte ribbing. This uniquely-designed timepiece is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet).
