The dial of the watch is formed from back or tail of a vintage $20 gold coin and the case back of the watch is formed from the face of the coin. The coin-like appearance of the watch is enhanced by a fluted edge and ultra thin automatic movement. Simple thin hands do not detract from the beauty of the coin. Each coin has been in circulation and may contain imperfections which add to the individual character of each watch.
