Panerai 1950
Officine Panerais long history dating back to supplying for the Royal Italian Navy lives on with its Panerai 1950 collection. Looking both rugged and vintage, the series sports a look similar to the famous Luminor case, albeit with a few variations. While still equipped with the trademark SS crown with protective device and a round fixed or rotating bezel on a square case, the Panerai 1950 watches comes in two sizes of either 44mm or 47mm in steel, ceramic, titanium, or rose gold. The dial shows the trademark Arabic 3,6, 9 and 12 and the signature double layered dial with luminous hour markers and hands. The Panerai 1950 does try to cater to those with differing taste in style and functions. There are models with hand painted dials and additional complications like GMT, tourbillon and split second chronograph. Powered by automatic movement and boasting of a 56-192hrs power reserve, a Panerai 1950 is definitely the watch to own.
