The history of Anonimo is closely tied with that of another Italian brand. Founded in 1997, it has since moved out of the bigger label's shadow but has remained small enough for their buyers to enjoy a certain amount of exclusivity. A standout in its collection of timekeeping tools is the Anonimo D-Date II - the name refers to the day and date complications present in addition to the hours, minutes, and sweep seconds. These indications are clearly marked on the over-sized dial as both the hands and indices have luminous coating. The case of the Anonimo D-Date II is 42mm-46mm stainless steel and can resist underwater pressure of up to 500m. It is fitted accordingly with a Kodiak leather strap to prevent the usual damage salt water can do to even the toughest of leathers. Out of all the military dive watches out there, the automatic Anonimo D-Date II will never get old.
