Judging from their work, its hard to tell that Bedat has only been around for a little over a decade. Founded in 1996 by Simone Bedat and her son Christian - the brand eventually established a strong presence in the industry. Choosing to name their collections by numbers, thus creating a sense of timelessness and unique distinction, they were able to convey each pieces unique characteristic. The Bedat No.8, for example, represents infinity and luck and comes in a cushion-shaped case fashioned from varying materials such as solid gold, steel or platinum. Available in a multitude of sizes ranging from 26.5mm to 45.2mm, the Bedat No.8 line offers automatic or quartz movements and depending on the model, display time, big date, chronograph or power reserve. With a huge selection of dial designs and strap, the Bedat No.8 is truly "very famous amongst very few people".
