Corum Golden Tube

Originating from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Corum was founded by Ren Bannwart and his uncle Gaston Ries, both were already accomplished watchmakers. Choosing the image of the key as their emblem, they sought to explore uncharted territories and open the door to unrestrained innovation. Two years after its inception in 1955, the iconic Corum Golden Tube was born. The watches were named after its cylindrical case measuring 31mm x 14.5mm, topped by a strategically placed fluted crown above the 12 oclock position. Recent reissues recalls the iconic Corum Golden Tube in 18k strategically placed fluted crown above the 12 oclock position. A Quartz movement beats at the heart of the diamond-set tube case ensuring uninterrupted accuracy of the hours and minutes. Waterproofed up to 30m, the Corum Golden Tube presents a difficult decision of choosing between a diamond pave or a mother of pearl dial.
