In 1946, Georges Dubey set up his own manufacture with his friend René Schaldenbrand in the district of La Chaux-de-Fonds. Equally passionate and experienced in the fields of horology, they made sure every masterpiece is handsomely crafted and of uncompromising quality - resulting in very limited releases. The Dubey & Schaldenbrand Buddy collection is one of these limited editions. Measuring approximately 39 x 46mm, it is encased in black ceramic or steel and provides an option for a diamond-encrusted bezel. Consistent with the firm''s early philosophy, the tonneau-shaped case of Dubey & Schaldenbrand Buddy houses an automatic movement and offers a plethora of complications: GMT, moonphase,annual calendar, chronograph. With its colored dials, fans and non-fans alike will be pleased with the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Buddy''s sporty and retro vibe.
