The A. Lange & Sohne Tourbograph "Pour le Merite" commemorates the 15th anniversary of its reinstatement as a watch manufactory in 2005 as a limited edition of only 50 pieces. It is encased in 41.2 mm platinum case with a sapphire crystal caseback that showcases the intricately hand-finished manual movement with the fuse-and-chain transmission. The A. Lange & Sohne Tourbograph made history as the first timepiece to incorporate a fuse-and-chain transmission with a tourbillion, and a rattrapante chronograph. The dial is made of solid silver argent that hosts a power reserve indicator at 3 oclock, an aperture at 6 oclock that reveals the fascinating motion of the tourbillion and a 30-minute counter at 9 oclock. It also features easy-to-read blued steel hands and delicate gold plated sweep hands. The A.
