Despite Chronoswiss' relatively young history, it amassed a solid fanbase following its founding in 1983 mainly due to its distinct look and classy dress watches. A good example is the Chronoswiss Regulateur Automatique which was introduced in 1987. Crafted from stainless steel or 18k rose gold, the 38mm case looks very sophisticated and stylish. The automatic mechanism which provides a power reserve of approximately 40 hours can be admired from the transparent caseback. The Chronoswiss Regulateur Automatique is a really well thought-out timepiece as the carved bezel allows the dial to stand out. Both the logo and markers are printed while a blued or white hour and minute hands gives excellent contrast to dial. Additionally, a seconds-subdial sits at 6 o'clock to complete the immaculate layout. Water resistant up to 30m, the Chronoswiss Regulateur Automatique is a timeless classic.
