Years of working on movements, chronographs, and stop watches prompted watchmaker Gerd R. Lang to set up his own shop in Munchen, Germany in 1983. In less than 30 years, the firm established a reputation for exceptional timepieces such as the Chronoswiss Tachoscope Platinum, an exclusive piece made in collaboration with car maker Audi. The 38mm platinum case houses an automatic mechanical movement with a chronograph second hand and a power reserve of 35 hours. Sporting a pressure gauge- like look, the Chronoswiss Tachoscope Platinum makes use of vintage fonts and blued Poire hands to indicate the central minute as well as the hour and seconds sub-dials at 12 and 6 o'clock, respectively on its white dial.
