FP Journe Octa Reserve de Marche
If one is to venture in online forums about exclusively made timepieces, the brand FP Journe is sure to come up. Francois-Paul Journe is known to build watches from the ground up and the FP Journe Octa Reserve de Marche Platinum is one of his earliest handiwork. First launched in 2001, it comes in a 2-part platinum case with a polished finish and a transparent exhibition caseback. Like many FP Journe timepieces, the models are available in 38mm and 40mm to ensure a comfortable fit. Inside the FP Journe Octa Reserve de Marche Platinum is an automatic movement with a 5-day power reserve. The dial in silver, grey, or salmon features blued steel hands, guilloche decor, and printed Arabic Numerals and scales. Presenting hours and minutes, small seconds, power reserve display, and date, the FP Journe Octa Reserve de Marche Platinum also comes with a hand-stitched crocodile leather strap.
