Perhaps it is written in the stars that Fran�ois-Paul Journe would one day set up his own manufacture from his humble beginning as a watch and clock restorer. Thank heavens then that we are now blessed with such individualized pieces such as the FP Journe Octa Zodiaque Platinum. Whether it was made to thank his lucky stars or yet another proof of their watchmaking prowess, the watch is truly one-of-a-kind. The 40mm case is made entirely in platinum with a transparent exhibition caseback showing off its signed and engraved automatic mechanism. On the other side of the FP Journe Octa Zodiaque Platinum is a ruthenium dial with blued steel hands and black markers and scales to indicate the hours, minutes, small seconds, and a power reserve display for 120 hours. Adding an oversized date, a month and zodial chart completes the FP Journe Octa Zodiaque Platinum's unconventional dial.
