German watchmaker Gerd R. Lang had always been fascinated by the complex art of mechanical watchmaking, eventually founding Chronoswiss in Munich in 1983. Maintaining exclusivity by producing only about 7,000 watches in a year, Chronoswiss became known for its modern yet classic design aesthetic. In the same mold comes the Chronoswiss Timemaster with its 40s themed stainless steel case equipped with the signature onion-shaped crown. Driven by a Swiss Automatic Movement, the Chronoswiss Timemaster provides size option with a choice of 40mm or 44mm. Inspired by vintage pilot watches, it boasts of unrivaled legibility with a generous amount of Super-LumiNova on the dial or the hands indicating time, date and complications such as a flyback chronograph, power reserve, or GMT. Although built with an exposition caseback, the Chronoswiss Timemaster is water resistant up to 100m.
