Panerai Vintage and Discontinued
Founded in 1860, the story of Panerai is closely interwoven with that of the Royal Italian Navy. Many of their timepieces and precision instruments were standard issue for the officers of Marina Militare and were mercilessly exposed to the wars harsh conditions. An opportunity to take a piece of this history is presented by the Panerai Vintage & Discontinued collection. Case materials include steel, 18kt gold, titanium, and platinum with dimensions ranging from 40mm to 52mm, with or without a crown protecting device. An automatic mechanism, many of which were made by Rolex, powers Panerai Vintage & Discontinued watches. Some are pretty straightforward with only hours and minutes while others have complications like GMT, power reserve, and chronograph. Ruggedly handsome, the Panerai Vintage & Discontinued wristwatches are equipped with leather, canvas strap, or steel bracelet.
