Patek Philippe Sculpture
In 1844, the Polish Antoni Patek met the French-born Adrien Philippe. Both brilliant watchmakers, they co-founded one of the most acclaimed watch label in the world. This was in 1851. More than 140 years later, the great level of refinement that goes into every Patek Philippe timepiece is still evident as can be seen on the Patek Philippe Sculpture. Launched in 1999 as a nod to the Russian aristocrats, the "sculpture" steel or 18k gold case features a blue enameled crown and houses an automatic mechanism. The Patek Philippe Sculpture measures 38 x 45mm in dimension and is pretty straightforward with its time indication. The dial displays date, an outer minute/seconds track, center seconds, minutes and luminous Arabic or Roman numeral hours. Available in 9 versions and limited to only 300 pieces each, the Patek Philippe Sculpture is the perfect symbol of nobility and sophistication.
