The launch of the Zenith Rainbow models in 1993 thrilled both aviation pilots and enthusiasts alike. Marked with the masthead of the Rainbow ship on the case back, the steel case houses an automatic movement and features a coin-edged, uni-directional bezel with engraved Arabic numerals. The dial of the Zenith Rainbow sports an inner telemeter scale and comes in white, black or yellow which assures excellent legibility in its time, date, and chronograph indications. Without a crown, a Zenith Rainbow wristwatch measures 39mm in diameter with flyback models available sans the masthead marking.
