For a brand that catered to the Chinese market during the 19th century, Bovet Fleurier SA is all about the visual appeal, precision, and attention to detail. Founded in 1822 by Edouard Bovet, it has evolved from producing intricately crafted pocket watches to pedigreed luxury wristwatches such as the Bovet Sportster 46 series. Fashioned from a stainless steel or 18k rose gold case, it looks contemporary and classic at the same time. Considering the hours, minutes, big date, chronograph, tachymeter, and pulsometer functions, the Bovet Sportster 46s enamel or metereorite dial is clean and legible with the skeletonized and lume tip hands as well as its Art Deco inspired Arabic numerals. Ticking inside the 46mm case is an automatic movement that guarantees a 42-hour power reserve. Sporty and edgy, the Bovet Sportster 46 features the charm of a pocketwatch on a tread-inspired rubber strap.
