Winning a Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix Award for Innovation in 2005 is a testament to Dewitt Academia's passion for cutting-edge design amidst a traditional industry. First launched in 2003 at the Basel World Fair, the brand had gone on to usher in a multitude of complications in its succeeding models to include retrograde seconds indicator, GMT, date, chronograph, dual time,tourbillon and perpetual calendar.Marked by a distinct gear- wheel shaped case and imperial columns motif on the side, each Dewitt Academia timepiece houses either a manual or automatic mechanical movement in a 43mm-44mm 18k rose or white gold, titanium, or palladium case. Looking both utilitarian and playful, the Dewitt Academia collection comes in a variety of dial and strap materials and features a characteristic sword shaped hour and minute hands.
