For the 175th founding anniversary, Patek Philippe launched their 175th Anniversary Special Edition watches. These are limited-edition pieces to commemorate their 175 years in the industry. This Patek Philippe 175th Anniversary Special Edition is a collection of several different watch designs. These limited-edition timepieces display a mixture of the companyâ??s heritage which includes time zone mechanisms, jumping indications, moon-phase display and the chronograph. The Patek Philippe Special Edition Watches Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime This commemorative star of the collection is manually wound with a mechanical movement. It has a Caliber 300 GS AL 36-750 QIS FUS IRM. On the watchâ??s face, you can find its dials made of bright silvery luster, its Roman numeral numbers are gold and its dial plates are made of 18k gold. Its strap is made of dark brown alligator skin with square scales which are meticulously hand-stitched. Patek Philippe Chiming Jump Hour This is also mechanically wound. On its face, you can find a silvery opaline dial that is embossed with décor and dial plates made of 18k gold. Its strap is made of alligator skin, color black andwith square scales. World Time Moon This World Time Moon is self-winding. It is made of white gold with a clasp that can be folded over with the â??PATEK PHILIPPE 1839-2014â?? engravings. The strap is also made of alligator skin which is shiny black and also has square scales. Multi-scale chronograph This Multi-scale Chronograph has a self-winding movement. Its dial is silvery opaline. The watch has the famous fold-over clasp with the famous engravings, â??PATEK PHILIPPE 1839-2014â??. It has an alligator strap which hand stitched and shiny black. The multi-scale chronograph also comes in shiny dark chocolate brown color. These are special edition watches made for men. Ladies can also pick a choice of their own. Multi-scale Chronograph Ladies can also have a choice of a multi-scale chronograph. It has the same features as the one made for men with a silvery opaline dial, printed scales which are gray-brown and baguette markers with 12 diamonds. The strap comes in colored shiny peacock blue or shiny purple made from alligator skin. World Time Moon There are also world time moon watches for ladies. It has a self-winding mechanical movement. The bezel is a set of 70 diamonds. The strap is colored shiny beige made from alligator skin. The clasp is engraved with the famous tag from Patek Philippe, â??PATEK PHILIPPE 1839-2014â??. It also has the Calatrava Cross in the center just like the other designs. The watch is rose gold. These are special watches designed to commemorate the 175th anniversary of Patek Philippe watches. The watches for men have a total of 7 designs but only 6 can be purchased and the other one left is placed in the Patek Philippe Museum.
