The "tank" is possibly the most legendary watch collection to ever come out of Cartier's watchmaking facilities. In whatever incarnation, it evokes a curious blend of sophistication that is both modern and vintage. The Cartier Obus Rose Gold is not an exception. Handsomely rendered in 18k rose gold, it is equipped with a distinct bullet style lugs along with a circular grained crown set with either a sapphire cabochon or diamond. The fixed bezel of the Cartier Obus Rose Gold may or may not feature diamonds. Measuring between 24mm to 29mm, it also offers a choice between a manual winding mechanical movement or a Swiss Quartz mechanism. This breathes life into the Cartier Obus Rose Gold's ivory or silvered dial that showcases black Roman Numerals and Breguet hands to indicate the hours and minutes. An inner ring is also displayed for the 24-hour display.
