Cartier Santos Square
The year 1904 proved to be one of the biggest turning point in the history of Cartier since its establishment in 1847. Granting the wish of his Brazilian aviator friend Alberto Santos Dumont to be able to keep time easily while flying, the Cartier Santos was born. Thus began the popularity of wristwatches amongst style savvy men of the 20th century. Today, these iconic watches can be seen in various incarnations of steel and 18k gold, with Roman Numeral markers and sword-shaped hands, and bezels embellished with exposed crews that extends well into the band for those with metal bracelets. Ranging in size from 24mm to 45mm, the Cartier Santos is available for both men and women with two movement options of either automatic or Quartz as well as water resistance of 30m or 100m. The original "pilots watch, the Cartier Santos feature hours, minutes, seconds, date, moonphase, and chronograph.
