Released in 1922, it is an interplay between the beauty of geometric proportion and cultural influences. Encased in 18k rose gold, the watches pay homage to Chinese temple porticos as shown by its square form and interlocking bezel. The winding crown is set with either a sapphire cabochon or a precious diamond. The Cartier Tank Chinoise Gold ranges in diameter from 24mm to 29mm and houses a Quartz mechanism or a manual winding mechanical movement. In perfect harmony with its clean lines, the white or silvered guillocheÌ? dial are accented only with blued steel hands and black Roman Numerals. Displaying only hours and minutes, the Cartier Tank Chinoise Gold are equipped with alligator leather straps.
