The year 1847 marked the establishment of Cartier in Paris, France by the jeweller Louis-François Cartier. Today, it is one of the most beloved name in the luxury goods industry. One of its defining moment revolves around the introduction of the Tank in 1917 which have seen many interpretations since. Today we see another take with an in-house automatic movement - the Cartier Tank MC. The iconic square shape is executed in 18k rose gold, stainless steel, or palladium and has a modest dimension of 34.3mm x 44mm. With its slightly curved case, wearing the Cartier Tank MC under a shirt sleeve is no problem at all and thus gives it a valuable versatility. With its flinqué dial laid over by black Roman numerals, it is simply stunning as it showcases the hours, minutes, seconds, and date. Water resistant up to 30m,a chronograph version is also available.
