Corum Antika
Corum is a Swiss watch manufacturer that originated from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1955. Founded by Gaston Ries and Renee Bannwart, they released the first model after only one year of operation and success was immediate. What followed was a series of high quality, limited edition watches that secured the firm a veritable position in the Swiss watch industry. One of the more sought-after collection is the Corum Antika which presents two distinct looks -- some models feature Art Deco Arabic markers while others use Roman numerals. The dial has blued steel hour and minute hands and is powered by Swiss quartz movement. The case of the Corum Antika is fashioned from 18k gold with diamonds and a matching bracelet or a crocodile leather strap. Though the Corum Antika appears modest in its simple square case and clean dial, it can certainly rival any Swiss luxury watch model in terms of sophistication and class.
