Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aquadyn

Bound by their shared passion for watchmaking, Georges Dubey and Rene Schaldenbrand got their own manufacture going in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1946. It has since passed ownership in 1995 when it was purchased by Cinette Robert but the fundamentals never changed. The brand''s apparent effort to honor tradition while keeping an eye on advanced technology can be seen in collections such as the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aquadyn. Encased in a distinct tonneau-shaped steel, gold, or PVD steel, it measures between 35mm to 38mm and features a curved double-sided anti-glare sapphire crystal. The retro-looking dials of Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aquadyn vary in colors and indicate hours and minutes through a luminous, gilded printed Arabic Numerals. Powered by automatic movement with date, the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aquadyn also features subsidiary seconds and a 42-hr power reserve.
