The mysterious black diamond spurred the success of de Grisogono - a jewellery and watch manufacturer founded by Fawaz Gruosi in 1993. Working on the rare gem in 1996, he set out to launch jewelries and watches of meticulous designs and singular quality. One of these is the de Grisogono Instrumentino with, of course, a black diamond on the crown. The 18k gold or steel case may boast of a few precious diamonds or a marvelous abundance of emeralds, sapphires, or rubies. The hours, minutes, seconds, and dual time functions is displayed on a 3-level dial plate with the numerals 8 and 4. The Grisogono Instrumentino offers two movements: automatic or Swiss quartz. With an estimated dimension of 28mm to 34mm, a de Grisogono Instrumentino timepiece is gracefully fitted with a metal bracelet or a lovely exotic galuchat strap.
