Dubey & Schaldenbrand Watches

Dubey & Schaldenbrand

Watchmaker extraordinaires Georges Dubey and Rene Schaldenbrand set up their first workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1946 where it is also currently based. The next 66 years saw the brand promote quality and innovation while producing only in limited quantities to maintain exclusivity. One notable collection is the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Gran Astro cintrée curvex case shaped from steel or 18k yellow or rose gold. The sapphire front and caseback houses a modified automatic Valjoux 7751 with a 48 hour power reserve. Measuring approximately 38mm in width, the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Gran Astro sports a guilloché patterned dial framed by a rectangular bezel with optional diamonds. Displaying hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph, triple calendar and moon phase, the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Gran Astro is a tangible result of a remarkable Swiss horological tradition.
